Millennial Mental health Podcast

episodes released on Tuesday

Episodes are focused on mental health topics that impact the culture, societal norms and how we relate and connect with one another. Variety of guests that hopefully shed some light on different treatment modalities, issues and services that can provide our listeners with valuable information to go impact their own circle of influence.

The host Stephanie Konter-O'Hara, LPC (which is me) mission is to reduce stigma of mental health, spread awareness of different issues facing individuals experiencing mental health issues, advocate for others, and teach skills to people that are struggling.

To find true connection can be a challenge for most people, in this modern world where technology has really become apart of our everyday lives. This podcast, although delivered to you via technologies hope is to help you connect with other people that also care about mental health, that want you to know you’re not alone. Sure other ways of connecting through technology can give you high level connection, however this podcast hopes to really connect you with your inner self and those the guests.

This week we have Nicola Dehlinger ND on the podcast to discuss self-care, IFS, etc. Dr. Dehlinger practices a Naturopathic process working with clients who experience stress, anxiety, and overwhelming feelings. She speaks on how symptoms can manifest throughout the body and how we can find balance within ourselves.

My motivation is simple: I want to be healthy and want to help as many people as possible be healthy, too. I want YOU to be healthy and have healthy relationships! One way to do that is listen to my inspirational guests explore different aspects of mental health, and perhaps leave thinking more or differently about the topic after you listen through to the end.

There are tons of self-help books out there that I’m sure you’ve heard about or even read. However, hearing from my guests, well as myself hopefully helps you learn new things in our bit size 30-45 minute episodes that you may need to ready a dozen or more self-help books to get.

Sure there are so many podcasts to listen to out there, in fact it often feels like endless choices, hopefully what you get from Millennial Mental Health Podcast feels a bit different, a little inspirational, a little casual, a little thought provoking, and hopefully a whole lot of connection to the stories and messages of the guests.

Millennial Mental Health Podcast is a passion project, and my goal is to hope to inspire others to do what they aspire to do, even if its messy or imperfect, or not generating revenue, sometimes your passion can be simply to connect, feel creative, and nurture the part of you that doesn’t always get to come out and play.
